Stable Cable Haul-Off for Production Lines

The Crawler Tractor is designed to provide continuous traction for cables during extrusion, sheathing, armoring, laying-up and other cable manufacturing processes. Multiple models are available for different cable diameters and production line requirements.

The machine uses paired cylinders and crawler belts to maintain stable contact with the cable during haul-off. An AC variable-frequency motor drives the traction system, while crawler dimensions, contact length and transmission configuration vary by model to match different cable sizes and pulling requirements.
