Controlled Steel Wire Armoring for Cable Protection

The 315–630 Steel Wire Armoring Machine is designed to apply single-layer or double-layer steel wire armor around cable cores. It supports the production of steel wire armored cables requiring an external mechanical protection layer.

The machine combines a planetary gear back-twist system with front and rear cage supports for stable rotation. Mechanical or magnetic hysteresis tension control can be selected, while the magnetic tension version uses independent PLC closed-loop control. Machine size, wire diameter and cage configuration can be selected according to the cable diameter and armoring structure.
