Overview & Key Features

Compact Cable Stranding for Small Conductors

The 200–315 cage type strander is used in the stranding and cable-forming stage for small control cables, signal cables, data cables and mobile cables. It can process copper, aluminum, insulated and sheathed wires, including silver-plated and soft copper conductors, making it suitable for diversified cable manufacturing programs.

Its cage system combines parallel planetary back-twist with either magnetic hysteresis tension control or active pay-off. Independent PLC closed-loop control maintains stable bobbin tension as material is consumed, while the hard-tooth gear transmission supports reliable continuous operation. Wire ranges and cage configuration should be selected according to conductor type and required cable construction.

Key Features

  • Parallel planetary gear back-twist system
  • Hard-tooth gear transmission with low wear
  • Independent PLC closed-loop tension control
  • Magnetic hysteresis tension control option
  • Active pay-off tension control option
  • Stable tension throughout bobbin unwinding
  • Reliable and stable transmission operation
